“The Arising” is a short-form booklet I produced for a competition, which incorporates elements of layout, illustration, and typographic design. It reflects on cycles of death and rebirth, and takes references from a wide range of sources. The process of this project began with ideation and sourcing text, followed by a visual exploration centered around sketching and creative play. I also focused a lot on constructing strong layouts and diversifying compositions.
